Project Description

The Rotary Club of Kathmandu Height organized the Project Jyoti Vision Screening Orientation Program on 17 January at Spectra Eye and Contact Lens Clinic, Blue Bird Mall, Thapathali.
The orientation session was facilitated by contact lens specialist Rtn. Dr. Chandra Lekha Tuladhar, who provided practical training and guidance on vision screening procedures to ensure effective and accurate implementation of the project. The program was attended by Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu Height, along with Rotaractors from RAC Kathmandu Height and RAC Kathmandu Mid-Town, reflecting strong collaboration across the Rotary family. Through this orientation, participating Rotarians and Rotaractors were equipped with the necessary skills to conduct vision screening activities under Project Jyoti.
Under this project, the club has set a target to conduct vision screening for 2,500 students, contributing significantly to early detection of vision problems and the promotion of eye health among schoolchildren.
