Kathmandu, 5 to 19 May - The Rotary Club of Kathmandu Height successfully organized “Career Compass,” a youth-focused (students from class 8-10) initiative designed to help students explore hidden and emerging career opportunities while motivating them in their academic journey. The program aimed to create awareness about diverse professional fields and guide students toward informed career choices based on their interests and abilities. A total of 15 career counseling sessions were conducted in Nine schools directly benefiting 520 students. Led by Rtn. Angirash Karki with valuable support from Canopy Nepal, the initiative encouraged students to ask questions and learn from the instructors’ personal success stories and struggles. The program received highly positive feedback from students, teachers, and school principals, who expressed interest in continuing similar sessions in the future with broader career sectors and opportunities.
