Sudal, 4-6 April - The Rotary Club of Kathmandu Height, in collaboration with RC Kathmandu and supported by the Basic Education & Literacy Committee of RID 3292, successfully organized a three-day ICT Training for Public School Teachers from April 4 to 6, 2026, at Shree Mahendragram Secondary School in Sudal, Changunarayan Municipality-8, Bhaktapur. Chaired by Rtn. Arun Sharma, President of RC Kathmandu Height, the opening ceremony included a welcome by Principal Som Shrestha and an overview of the training's objectives by Rtn. Tirtha Raj Dahal, the Teachers' Training Coordinator for RID 3292, and RC Kathmandu President Rtn. Rajendra Gautam. Throughout the program, 20 primary-level teachers from four community schools: Gadgade Basic School, Shree Mahendragram Secondary School, Thuli Bhramayane Basic School, and Kalika Basic School, engaged in intensive skill-building focused on question preparation, basic Excel calculations, internet surfing, and PowerPoint development to enhance classroom effectiveness. The initiative concluded with a formal ceremony attended by Ward No. 8 Chairperson Mr. Janak Khatri, Ward Member Pralad Dulal, and members from RC and RAC Kathmandu Height, during which participants received certificates and shared how the training opened new pathways for integrating technology into their teaching.
